The Data Engineer Databricks Senior will be responsible for data integration: acquisition, preparation, modeling, storage, and exposure. The role requires an innovative, methodical, solution-oriented, and communicative mindset.
Responsibilities
- Manage Big Data Engineers and Cloud Engineers - Provide technical coaching: solution and code reviews on site, recommend training and certifications - Analyze technical and business needs, define solution architecture, act as technical referent - Develop and optimize software, maintain DevOps practices ('You build IT, You run IT') - Support testing phases, production deployment, and documentation - Occasionally act as Scrum Master - Benchmark solutions and advise clients on technology adoption - Share knowledge and conduct internal training
